You need all the measurements that define: the perimeter to be traced, the width of the staircase, the distance from the corners of the deck towards the stairs, the width of the tread, the height of the step as well as the number of steps.

Click the "New" button to start the plot of a new plan.

Click the "Draw the deck outline" button to start the plot of your plan.

Point your mouse on the icons and carefully read the information of the tooltips.

To draw this plan, it is important to start the plot at the top left. And continue to the right by turning clockwise.

Click on the "Draw Vertical or Horizontal Lines" icon.

Note that this function allows you to draw lines that will always follow a vertical (Y) or horizontal (X) axis to easily draw an angle-free patio plane.
Concentrate thus on the precise measurement of the thumbs of the line you are going to draw. Move the mouse and see how simple it is to draw a right and accurate measure.

Draw the first line of the patio. Go to the 12'-5 '' or 149 '' length in horizontal (x) and click the left mouse button to accept the measurement.

Click the "Show in inches or feet" icon to draw a plan according to the measured or desired measurements. It is possible to reverse the display at all times.

When the 149 '' measurement is reached, observe the dotted green line that indicates that the last line to be tracer is perfectly aligned at the starting point. Click the left mouse button to accept the measurement.

If the line or angle was not perfect, this could indicate a measurement error in the drawn plane or the 'start-up printed plan contain an error. Check all previous line measurements and correct them as needed.

If you made a mistake, click the arrow to go back.

Close the plan by placing the mouse over the starting point as traced. Make sure the circle turns green that will indicate that the last line of the route has joined the starting point line. Before clicking the left button to accept everything, check that the line and the angle are perfect. Otherwise it could indicate a measurement error in the drawn plane or the start-up plan contains an error. Check all previous line measurements and correct them as needed. In this example, the final line is perfect, the angle is 90 degrees and the length is 106 ''. Click the left button to accept the measurement.

When you have joined the last point at the first starting point, the plan's route is now complete and completed. You can not change the drawing and the main left menu instantly reappeared.

Use the mouse wheel to zoom the plan (closer or further).
Use the right mouse click to move the plane.

Click on the "Stairs" button

Click on the "Existing Stairs" button

Arrow 1 = Enter the number of steps. The width of the tread. As well as the height of the step, that is, from the top of one step to the top of the next step.
Arrow 2 = If you use method # 1, then the boxes (x, y, z) of method # 2 are disabled. You must use a single method at a time. To change the method, delete your data from Method # 1 and go to Method # 2 or No. 3.

Observe the plan with length (x), height (y), diagonal (z) with the angle of the staircase.
Check whether the stairs measurements correspond to the measurements of the estimated planes and click on the "Done" button.

Arrow 1 = Now that you are back on the plane, enter the stair width measure of 46 ''.
Arrow 2 = write a staircase offset compared to the outside of the walk, here 2 '', it can be the same offset as the perimeter of the patio.

Drag the mouse onto the lines of the patio outline where the stairs will appear to be positioned at the desired location. Then click on the left button to accept the desired position.

Place the mouse on the stairs and a trash can appear. Click on the trash to remove the staircase.

Click the "railings" tab for selecting a railing model.

By clicking on a perimeter rail you can add a railing segment with each click.

By clicking the tab Add or Remove railings everywhere you add or remove all railings at a time.

Click on the railings that is on the side of the house to delete it.

Click the OFFSET button to determine the precise measurement between the exterior of the post and the deck plan outlines.

Enter a OFFSET measurement (2’’) in the text box.

Click on the Set offset everywhere button to do all outlines at once.

Enter the 0 '' measure in the text field and click on the side on the wall. Then turn on the "Back" button in the left menu.

Click the Show railings names tab to identify each plan railing to the list as displayed. Do it too for the Show posts types and offsets as needed.

Click on the printer to print the plan as it is displayed on the screen.

Click on RAILING DETAILS and RAILING QUOTE which you can print and create the client's file to give to him if necessary.

The detailed list of measures makes it possible to associate each of the rail identified on the plan.

Click on the "Reports" and "Stairs" button
